Read MoreThis month, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution recognized our Atlanta Chapter for their efforts in raising awareness for breast cancer and giving back to local breast cancer patients and survivors. Since 2008, the WCAA’s Atlanta Chapter members get together annually to sew Anti-Ouch Pouches for cancer patients. These pouch-like-purses are donated directly to cancer centers in their area. Local companies helped them reach their goal by donating Velcro and batting to the worthy cause.
